St. Stephen's Basilica

With a capacity for about 8,500 people, St. Stephen’s Basilica is Budapest’s largest church which is dedicated to Hungary’s first king. Beyond being a vast, beautiful basilica, some of the mummified remains of St. Stephen are in the church and on display for the public. Guided tours are given in several languages, and visitors are allowed to go up to the cupola and take in breathtaking views from above Budapest.(more)
